Are These More Pictures of Liverpool’s Next Kit?
When it was announced that New Balance would soon be taking over as Liverpool kit manufacture from the soon to be defunct Warrior Football brand, there were a few different images doing the rounds of kit designs for next year. While one set in particular quickly caught the eye as being really legitimate looking, these latest batch of snaps have either confirmed that the earlier set of pictures were the real deal or they’re showing that New Balance liked those designs so much that they jacked them as their own.
Although the first release just showed mock-ups of what the shirts could look like, this latest leak is of the actual fleshed out physical product — and they look just like the earlier designs showed they would, though the home shirt varies from another leaked image that shows it at either an alternate state of completion or following a slightly different design. Regardless, thankfully, New Balance has eschewed anything blue and avoided the kind of daring design choices that Warrior was known for. That is to say that there isn’t a purple tribal design in the whole lot of them.
These, of course, clash quite a bit compared to the other leaked images we’ve seen which started to pop up in the last couple of days. While it’s hard to say which of these — if, let’s be fair, either of them are legit — are the real deal, what’s for certain is that the kit will be designed by the American shoe maker and they’re going to pay handsomely for the privilege. At this point, that’s good enough.
Awful design, spot on colors, the adidas grey looks better then white but PLEASE NO MORE YELLOW.
If so, they better be paying Liverpool an awful lot of money. That would be Literally the ugliest Liverpool home kit ever.. It’s like that nasty United picnic towel one.
the ugliest lfc kit I ever seen. especially the chekered part
oh no, ugly! new balance is out of balance with these designs. the white one is nearest to tolerable but still too plain.
I’m sure I’ll catch flack for saying this, but I don’t mind any of them. Certainly not the best efforts I’ve seen, but far from the worst.
Boooooooo Steven. Booooooo.
Knew it…
