As far as the team news is concerned, Fabinho suffered an injury vs Napoli and reports suggest that he could be out for a few weeks (The Daily Mail). Nevertheless, it must be remembered that the Brazilian is already suspended for the game against Brighton after receiving his 5th yellow card of the campaign last weekend vs Crystal Palace.
In the absence of the former Monaco midfielder, we can expect Jordan Henderson to start as the main defensive midfielder and in front of him Wijnaldum and Oxlade-Chamberlain should get the nod to start in the center of the park.
In the attack, the likes of Mane, Firmino and Salah might start again. Our Egyptian playmaker did not feature vs the Eagles and had an average outing against Napoli in the CL. I’m glad that Shaqiri is back and hopefully he can come in and perform if Salah continues to be out of form.
In the back-line, Klopp may make only one change. Alexander-Arnold should replace Joe Gomez to start in the right back role.
