Mourinho full of praise for Liverpool & fans as Reds lift the European Cup
Last night was crazy as Liverpool lifted their sixth European Cup by beating Spurs 2-0 in the final of the Champions League in Madrid.
After losing six finals in a row, Jurgen Klopp has finally won the big prize, Liverpool absolutely deserved the win and perhaps the German manager deserved the title more than anyone else.
Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, who has won the Champions League with Porto and Inter Milan, praised Liverpool and claimed that the Reds deserved to win the European Cup.

Moreover, he also lavished praised on the Anfield faithful, who played a massive part in helping Liverpool win the trophy.
Ahead of the kick-off in Madrid, Mourinho and former Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, were stunned by Liverpool’s iconic ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ anthem. Mou was lost for words and (beINSports) claimed:

After Liverpool’s victory, Jose praised The Reds and once again made special remarks about their supporters.
The 56-year-old manager said (beINSports):
“Liverpool of-course deserve compliments”
“Anfield played a big part in this. Today was not Anfield but was Anfield during the knockout competition. They brought a little bit of Anfield here too.“
“It’s a special place to play football and Liverpool teams, they have this extra, this extra from their fans”
