Liverpool registered their 17th consecutive win in the Premier League at the weekend, their 8th of the current campaign and we are now 8 points clear at the top of the table.
Manchester City lost their game against Wolves yesterday and now, the reigning European Champions are firm favorites to finally win the Premier League.

The Sky Blues have struggled so far this season mainly due to numerous injury concerns. They did not replace Kompany in the summer transfer window and at the moment, senior central defenders like Stones and Laporte are out injured. In the midfield, Guardiola’s star man, Kevin De Bruyne is injured as well.
Liverpool’s key first team players have remained fit so far this season and that has helped Jurgen Klopp. However, against Leicester City, star playmaker Mohamed Salah limped off injured after a horror tackle by Hamza Choudhury that made the German manager extremely angry.
Fortunately, reports (Mirror Sport) indicate that the Egyptian international’s injury is not as serious as initially feared. The British news source have mentioned that club doctors are hopeful that the £200,000-a-week (The Daily Mail) attacker should be able to return to action when the Premier League returns after the international fixtures.
In two weeks (after the international break), we will collide against Manchester United. Yes, the Red Devils are completely out of form at the moment but Old Trafford is not an easy place to earn all three points.
Our last victory in United’s home-ground came way back in 2014. So, Salah’s fitness is important, especially keeping in view that our second choice right winger, Shaqiri, who netted a brace vs Man Utd at Anfield last season, has missed the last few games due to injury.
