Liverpool will launch move to sign £132million star next year – Report
Liverpool have already got ample quality and depth in their central defense with stars like Van Dijk, Matip, Gomez and Lovren around.
Moreover, it must be remembered that in the summer transfer window, the Reds hired the services of a young center half in the form of Sepp van den Berg.
If reports in the media are anything to go by then the Merseysiders want to further strengthen their back-line by luring Senegalese international and Napoli superstar Kalidou Koulibaly.

According to Don Balon, who are renowned for coming up with the most outlandish of claims, Liverpool will launch a move to beat Real Madrid and sign the African star.
The Spanish news outlet have mentioned that signing Koulibaly is Liverpool’s main and only goal for next year.
The 28-year-old star’s current contract with the Naples based club will expire in 2023 and it has a mammoth release clause of 150 million euros (£132million). In the summer, he was linked with a move to Man United and Napoli wanted full payment of his release clause (Corriere dello Sport). In the end, United ended up signing Maguire from Leicester City.
Liverpool lost their opening Champions League contest last week and Napoli’s star defender was absolutely immense and kept Mohamed Salah quiet.
Koulibaly is one of the best defenders in the world and without doubt, he is by far the best defender in the Italian league. The former Genk star is the only defender, who has featured in the Serie A Team of the Season in the past four years.
In all fairness, Matip, who was lured for free, has been fantastic alongside Van Dijk under Jurgen Klopp. Still, the idea of having Koulibaly and Van Dijk in the central defense is surely mouth-watering.
Have your say – Should Liverpool spend big to secure his signature?
It will surely be a reliable addition to the defense line, but the value of the player is too high.A reasonable negotiation should be applied in the procurement of the player’s services.
