Egypt had already booked their place in the KO stages of the African Cup of Nations going into the final group game against Uganda.
The Pharaohs were able to top their group without conceding a single goal by winning the contest 2-0 (Uganda) last night.

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah scored his second goal of the competition to open the scoring for Egypt last night..
In the 35th minute, the 27-year-old attacker won a free kick in a dangerous position and then stepped up to slot the ball in the top right corner of the net.
In the first half injury time, Ahmed El Mohamady doubled the lead to secure all three points for Egypt. The Pharaohs will now play their Round of 16 contest on July 6 in Cairo and their opponents shall be confirmed in the next few days.
