How Liverpool could line up with £75million star & other potential signings

Liverpool earned 97 points but still failed to win the Premier League title. The Reds will look to bounce back in the next campaign with a better squad and they are linked with numerous quality players.

As per renowned journalist, Guillem Balague (BBC), Liverpool have been in talks to lure Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt, who is valued at around £75million (Mirror Sport).

As far as Klopp’s back-line is concerned, the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Alexander-Arnold and Robertson are irreplaceable. On the other hand, players like Lovren, Matip and Gomez compete to start with our record signing in the central defense.

De Ligt usually starts with Van Dijk in the central defense for the Netherlands and we can expect the same partnership at Anfield if the 19-year-old, who has proved to be sensational this season, does end up moving to the Merseysiders.

Transfer Story – Versatile £40million player desires to agree Liverpool move

Boyhood Liverpool fan, Sessegnon, wishes to move to Anfield (The Express) and I think that if the price is fair, then he should be lured to strengthen the fullback positions.

In the midfield, Klopp has got ample quality and depth with players like Fabinho, Keita, Wijnaldum, Milner, Lallana, Oxlade-Chamberlain and skipper Henderson around.

So, there is no real need to strengthen the department. Lallana is linked with a move back to the Saints (The Express) and I think, we should let Grujic leave permanently.

In the attacking third, the Reds need to add more depth by signing a quality playmaker and an out and out center-forward. We are linked with Ajax’s David Neres (The Daily Mail) and Leipzig’s Timo Werner (BuliNews).

The above mentioned duo will definitely amplify the quality and depth of Liverpool’s attacking department.

Here is how Liverpool could line up next season:

Agree here with Arthur, De Ligt will not be a Liverpool player as reported by James Pearce. Try a story about Nabil Fekir, I’ve not heard about him for a while.

“They (Barcelona) think they have De Ligt, even though both Liverpool and PSG have also been talking to him.” BBC 5 live podcast …. Balague is a self promoting Real Mouthpiece Who probably still thinks were in for Nuri Sahin and Jonas Hector. Liverpool were not interested in De Ligt, have no intention of signing him . And Balague has no insider knowledge at Anfield.. though he does love talking about us … give it a week he will rabbit on about someone else coming our way.?

Arthur, Until an official announcement is made, everything is a rumor/prediction whether made by Balague, Pearce or any journalist or media outlet for that matter. I have compiled all the rumors and predicted a lineup.

Unfortunately, De Ligt has taken all the attention in the article but you could see that even TODAY, the media outlets are reporting and linking him with us. Anyway, appreciate you took time to comment and thanks for the criticism, would only help
